23 June - The Annual GO Boulder Celebrity Commuter Challenge. - Cindy will participate in the event, Monday 8:30-10 a.m.

The race will start and finish at the Municipal Building, 1777 Broadway. Teams of celebrity commuters will compete with each other to see which commute options, bike, transit, or car are the most practical, convenient and fun.
Contestants will be asked to complete a set of tasks along the way, fueling the car vs. eating an energy bar; parking in a paid parking lot vs. locking a bike or just walking in the door etc.
The idea is to illustrate the practicality, convenience, ease and fun of using Boulder's transportation options and top notch facilities for commuting and errands.

23 June - Weekly Coffee(Beer actually) - On Monday, she'll be at be at Southern Sun (627 South Broadway) from 6 to 7 pm for a beer. Drop and tell tell what you'd like the legislature to be focusing on.

22 June - Weekly Coffee - She'll be at Amante Coffee (4580 Broadway, Boulder) Sunday morning from 8 to 9:30 am. Say hello before your ride north.

13 June - She'll also be attending the Jazz at the Dems: Summer Social and Potluck... Just for the fun of it! Friday, June 13 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm This is located at the Boulder County Dem Headquarters at 17th and Walnut.

11 June - Cindy will be at the Democratic Women's Luncheon on Wednesday at the Spice of Life from 11:30 - 1:00pm. There will be discussion on the legislative session.

10 June - Cindy will be attending the bi-monthly Drinking Liberally event at the Pearl St Pub. It's from 7pm - 9pm.

7 June - Cindy will be at the Precinct 126 picnic this Saturday, from 3pm-7pm. It has been organized by the precinct and will be held at 1742 Quince St.

6 June - Boulder County Business Report Green Summit - Friday, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Millennium Hotel. Registration, which includes breakfast and lunch, is $49. The summit begins at 7:30 a.m. with registration and breakfast. Deadline for registration is June 2. Go to www.bcbr.com and click "events" to register.

5 March - First Time Delegate workshop and Happy Hour at the Redfish

The friends of Cindy Carlisle, candidate for State Senate, are hosting an event for first time delegates to the County Assembly. Come to the Redfish New Orleans Brew house, 2027 13th St. Boulder [Map], for light appetizers a cash bar and the opportunity to meet other first time delegates. We will have a presentation on the Assembly and question and answer session with an Assembly Expert!
All are welcome, meet candidates, meet delegates, and help us continue the growing political momentum towards March 15.

[MAP] This event is open to the public, tickets are $5.00. The forum begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Rollie Heath, Jared Polis and Joan Fitz-Gerald will also be speaking.

21 January 2008 - Cindy will be at the rally in front of the Boulder County Courthouse to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, in celebration of the birth of the civil rights leader assassinated 40 years ago. After the rally there will be a march to Boulder High School.

3 December 2007 - Public and private sector leaders gather at CU to discuss the state's Climate Action Plan tonight. The Center for Energy and Environmental Security—CEES—at the University of Colorado-Boulder will announce the naming in her honor of the Carlisle Distinguished Service Award for outstanding staff contributions at the event. 26 November 2007 - Governor Ritter has invited Cindy to join him at an NCAR reception to recognize the more than 40 IPCC members who were recently awarded the Nobel Peace prize for their extraordinarily important work on climate change.

17 November 2007 - Cindy Carlisle joins Coyote Bob and the bear at the City of Boulder's 40th Open Space Anniversary on the downtown mall. "Carlisle was instrumental in putting the Open Space Charter Amendment into place in 1986." The amendment prohibits the selling of Open Space lands without a vote of the people.
