Cindy Carlisle
Cindy Carlisle is the best-qualified Democratic candidate and the right choice for Colorado's most progressive senate district. District 18 deserves a nominee who will champion its environmental values. Only one candidate—Cindy Carlisle—has the energy and vision to truly represent Boulder's progressive ideals, to take on the tough issues, and to stand up to entrenched interests. Boulder is Colorado's city of firsts. For energetic Boulder activism and progressive environmental leadership, support Cindy Carlisle for State Senate.

Thanks to everyone who helped make possible my victory at the Boulder County Democratic Assembly.

On March 15 in Longmont, delegates voted by 280 to 245, a margin of nearly 7 percent, in my favor for the Democratic nomination for State Senate District 18. That means I and my opponent will be on the August 17 Democratic primary ballot, but my name will have top line listing.

The positive energy for progressive change in the Skyline High auditorium last Saturday was electrifying. My sincerest thanks to the fired-up delegates, to my wonderful nominators—Spense Havlick, Gary Graham, and Charles Gilford III—my broad base of grass roots contributors, and to my tireless band of all-volunteer supporters. Now it's on to August, and, if my opponent accepts the invitation, a series of substantive debates in this exciting campaign season.

Again, thanks to all! See you on the campaign trail. ADELANTE!
