March 30, 2008, Funk, Nebraska: Three whoopers! Out of only 220 in the world! The highlight of Cindy's trip to see the Sandhill Crane migration on the Platte. Cindy and Baine were the first birders of 2008 to see whoopers in Nebraska on their way fromTexas to Canada, capping 56 species in two days--not bad for so early in the season.
